Stephanie Chu
Dr. Stephanie Chu received her Bachelor’s degrees in music theory and pre-health sciences from New York University. She then received her dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with honors in clinical dentistry. Afterwards, she completed a General Practice Residency at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Hospital, concentrating on restorative and emergency dentistry, and management of medically complex patients. This was followed by three years of Post-Graduate Periodontics & Implantology education at the joint program between New York University and the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Hospital, where she also served as chief resident. While she in residency, she was awarded the Dennis P. Tarnow Award for clinical excellence. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and is an active member in the American Academy of Periodontology. She remains active in academia, having published numerous articles within the field of clinical research, and is an adjunct clinical professor at the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Post-Graduate Periodontics Department. In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys playing electric guitar, traveling, and spending time with her family.
